morning rambles

i am beginning to get settled into our new place and new job. at times i think i am getting too settled in. i think the next move will be right around the corner. i have parted ways with so much clothing in different phases over the last 6 months and now i realize i still have way too much stuff. getting ready to clean out the closet once again. the more clothing and things i have the more it all feels like burdens. i want to travel light, and right now, i am no where close to that goal.
i drank beer last night with a friend i have not seen in years, candace tyler. she is one of those "no one is a stranger" type people so we met and talked with people at the places we went. i enjoyed it. she is also the kind of person that no matter how long its been since i have seen her we can always pick up like we where never apart. no akwardness. no apprehension. i really like that about her.
